PROJECT GOALS

Better coordination between the contributing countries by more closely promoting, planning, implementing, and publicizing Baltic research.

Producing and disseminating research outcomes for improved receptivity and utilization in policy and decision-making.

Developing prudent and long-term multidisciplinary solutions involving sustainable use of the region.

Educating and training new generations of young scientists and technicians to apply novel concepts and technologies for the above-mentioned purposes.

Bridging the gap between science and users by ensuring that the research needs to be done keeping in mind the sustainable development of the Baltic Sea region.
