On the 2nd of October 2018, Leitat and Varta jointly organise a workshop entitled “Beyond Lithium-Ion” that aims to bring high-level experts from research and industry working on post-lithium technologies together. This event will be dedicated to the exchange of knowledge from current running European collaborative projects and industrial development dedicated to post lithium for stationary or electrical mobility. It is organised in the framework of ALISE and ALION projects, two Horizon 2020 projects developing post-lithium batteries.

The initial program is aiming to deal with the following 4 sessions:

• Session nº1: Research on disruptive technologies: Ca, Mg, Al, Li anodes

• Session nº2: Research on technologies closer to the market: Li-S, Zn-Air, Solid State

• Session nº3: Technologies manufacturing opportunities and barriers: Cell manufacturers

• Session nº4: Technologies integration opportunities and barriers: EV, stationary and aeronautic integrators
